Superior in 2nd Grade

This has been a CRAZY week. My husband is TDY in Hawaii, what luck, after school tutorials started and this is the last week before the state writing test. BOY AM I ONE TUCKERED TEACHER!!! In the midst of all of that work I was able to create two great resources, a Types of Sentences mini packets and a Word Web Graphic Organizer for the Content Area.

I designed this packet a few years ago, so it more closely aligned with 1st, 2nd, or 3rd grade expectations. Even with this being said, it is a great packet.

This packet is GREAT for the new Common Core Standards. This is a great activity that links the ELA standards and a content area, i.e. Science. I use this in my room and it really helps students understand the new vocabulary.
